Hi, I'm Bruce Wood.

But first-- a little background.

If you've been through my blog and Internet home business site already,

maybe you know a bit about me. But just in case you don't, I'll give a brief introduction. 

I'm a fine artist. I have a Masters Degree in Fine Art from

The School of the Art Institute of Chicago.  I graduated

with no marketable skills, and I've made a living on my own

for the past twenty five years.

Along the way I started many businesses, including real estate renovation,

advertising services, and a stint as a member and floor broker at the

Mid America Commodity Exchange in Chicago. 

None of these were home-based businesses, but I did them all as a way to eventually

have the time freedom to stay home and make art.  However, what actually hapened

was that I continually found more elaborate ways to make money, and all of them

progressively ate up all of my time!

I owned stores in Chicago for seventeen years. Talk about time bandits and money pits!

If you've ever owned a store, you know what I mean.  Management and operations eat up time,

and overhead without cash flow is a killer.

Don't get me wrong here-- when the stores were profitable, life was great!

But when the economy went sour I ended up losing a ton of money and I was

forced to close them.

I wanted another kind of business without the heavy overhead,

but with good profit potential.

The only alternatives I knew of involved going back to school for several years

to learn new skills, or becoming a salesman working on commission,

as I did when working in real estate.

Both of those things held very little appeal for me,

(and don't get me started talking about the real estate market...)

so I decided to look around and see what the alternatives might be.

Someone introduced me to MLM.  Have you heard of that?

It sounded good, and I thought network marketing would be the answer. 

I dove into it, learning how to make prospecting calls, show the

compensation plan, sell small bottles of potions,and recruit anyone with a pulse. 

I honestly believed that MLM would be the answer I was looking for. 

I thought it would replace the income I lost when closing my stores. 

You see, I was used to making LOTS of money, and it really

looked like my MLM would get it for me.  I worked and worked at it...

Boy was I surprised when I found out the truth!

The tiny checks barely paid my phone bill, and I got fed-up with busting my butt

and not getting paid much for the effort.

So I went searching around, and I found what you are going to see

It is what I consider the perfect home-based business model.

There is no rent, tiny miniscule overhead, and a huge global market.

This home business is internet-based, too.  So that means that there is

no bugging your frieinds and family, no cold-calling prospects, and best of all,

This was a whole new concept to me.

My office travels with me now, in my laptop computer and my cell phone!

which I could only have immagined just a few short years ago!
